OUR PASTORAL TEAM
GARY KUHNE – PASTOR TEACHER
Pastor, educator, professor, and consultant, Dr. Gary William Kuhne has been involved in evangelism, follow-up, disciple-building, and leadership development for over forty-six years. Dr. Kuhne’s ministry has taken place on high school and college campuses, and in the local church, where he has assisted in planting three churches. His various books on personal ministry have been translated into ten languages and are used in ministries around the world. Dr. Kuhne currently performs several roles, including being the Pastor-Teacher of North Coast Christian Fellowship, the President of the Institute For the Study of Ministry Dynamics, and an Associate Professor of Education at Liberty University. His wife Kathy is a graduate of West Texas State Univeristy and was involved in elementary school education for several years. In addition to her role as wife, mother, and grandmother, Kathy’s primary focus has been the personal follow-up and discipleship of women. She has a heart for nurturing women in their journey of faith and helps to oversee the Titus 2 Women’s Ministry at “North Coast”. Gary and Kathy join together with the Pastoral Team in extending to you a heart-felt invitation to visit “North Coast” and meet the broader “family” of our church!
DWAYNE SELEY – ASSOCIATE PASTOR
Dwayne and his wife Carol are founding members of “North Coast,” where he served as an Elder for several years before being ordained in 2016. Along with our other pastors, Dwayne is in bi-vocational ministry. His responsibilities include visitations to those of our body who are hospitalized or undergoing hospice care, where he prays for and encourages them. He also leads a small, home Bible-study group each week. Dwayne provides technical and pastoral support during our Sunday teaching ministry as well. Outside of the church, Dwayne employs his specialized background in plant and equipment maintenance at a local company. Carol participates in the planning, organization and administrative responsibilities of the church. She also coordinates the preparation and provision of meals for those of our body in need due to health issues or a death in the family. Carol uses her creativity by decorating the church for our worship services, various religious and seasonal holidays, and other special events. Dwayne and Carol have been married for forty-three years and have two grown daughters. They are both on the board of the Institute For the Study of Ministry Dynamics. Dwayne and Carol would love to have you visit “North Coast” and become part of our family.
